Canadian Festival Magician
Firstly, I am a Canadian festival magician based out of Victoria BC Canada. My festival magic show consists of two packages, the close-up strolling show and the stage show. The close-up show is performed as a street busking act where I am able to draw my own crowd from the people at the festival. I will perform amazing sleight of hand, hilarious comedy, mentalism, and extraordinary tricks with common ordinary objects often borrowed from the spectators. Doing magic with borrowed objects creates a credible and authentic magical experience. Thus, making powerful suggestive psychological impressions that what I am doing is off the cuff, unprepared and in a sense real.
Secondly, my stage show is a 45-60 minute routine. I provide clean comedy, great sleight of hand, audience participation, impossible mentalism, astonishing magic and extraordinary illusions. Some of the illusions I may perform include; sawing a person in half effect, multiplying bottles, jumbo cards, and the arm chopper. Also, I perform magic with silks, sponge balls, rope, playing cards, coins, keys, rings, etc.
Thirdly, my mind blowing mentalism is out of this world. I can predict what playing card someone is merely thinking of in their mind. As well, I am able to predict how many keys a random spectator has on their key chain in their pocket. The best part is how I am able to get it right every time.
Festivals I have worked at include; 2015 Victoria’s International Buskers Fest, 2014 Saanich Fair, and 2013 Interior Provincial Exhibition, Qualicum Family Day, Shambala, and Otherworld.
